Lost and Found
Procedure and instructions for recovering lost items at Venice Marco Polo Airport
If you have lost something during your journey, the procedure differs depending on whether 1. you lost the item inside Marco Polo Airport (and grounds), or 2. inside the aircraft.
1. Items lost in the Airport
For items lost inside the airport building (and grounds), you can contact the Information and Lost Property Office, which is run by Venice Marco Polo Airport’s management company “SAVE” and open to the public for returning items to owners from 3 pm to 6 pm. The office is located on the ground floor.
First, please make a report regarding the loss by completing the information required in the form below.
The Information and Lost Property Office of SAVE will open a file based on your request, and will contact you as soon as possible with a reply.
2. Items left inside the aircraft
If you left an item inside the plane, the airline company is responsible for managing the question. Your reference location is the Lost&Found desk, which is in the Arrivals Hall opposite the baggage-pick-up conveyors. You can go there as soon as you arrive at the terminal.
Afterwards, to report a lost item, or to obtain an update on your case-file, you must contact one of the handling companies that serve the airlines that fly to Marco Polo Airport.
